About Lonnie

Lonnie Moore’s experience as classroom teacher, author, and inspirational speaker prepared him to help his clients find solutions that result in long-term change. Lonnie is passionate about teaching the principles of effectiveness to individuals and organizations. His dynamic style makes his presentations fun, challenging, and thought provoking.


Since he joined FranklinCovey in 2000, Lonnie has successfully contributed content development and global marketing. Lonnie has facilitated more than 1,200 workshops, seminars and keynote presentations. His experience in working with groups with diverse backgrounds has given him a clear vision of what it takes to deliver impactful programs.


Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Lonnie was a middle and high school math teacher. In his third year in the classroom, he was recognized as Mainstream Teacher of the Year in Pinellas County, Florida.

Lonnie is the author of The High-Trust Classroom, Raising Achievement from the Inside-Out (2009), and co-author of The Inspirational Teacher (2007).


Lonnie’s clients include school districts, non-profit organizations, and corporations in many cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Honolulu, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Diego, Minneapolis, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia and London, England.   


Lonnie and his wife, Margie, live in Tampa, Florida. They have two daughters. Lonnie enjoys running, biking, and swimming which led to his successful completion of more than 80 triathlons including the Clermont Ironman in Florida.
